Does Capital One Venture X include lounge access?
Yes — the Venture X gives the primary cardholder Priority Pass and Capital One Lounge access, but as of 2026 guests and authorized users cost extra unless you're a very high spender.
How it works
The Capital One Venture X ($395/yr) gives the primary cardholder complimentary access to Capital One Lounges and 1,300+ Priority Pass lounges worldwide (Priority Pass enrollment required).
The card also carries a $300/yr Capital One Travel credit and 10,000 anniversary miles, which together roughly offset the annual fee.
What it's worth
For the primary cardholder, the lounge access alone can beat the net cost of the card if you fly a few times a year, since the $300 travel credit and 10,000 miles cover most of the $395 fee.
What changed: as of February 1, 2026, guests are no longer free by default. Guests pay $45 per adult at Capital One Lounges and $35 at Priority Pass lounges, and free guest access only unlocks with $75,000+ in annual spend on the card. Authorized users are also no longer free — each now costs $125/yr.
How to claim it
- 1Enroll your card in Priority Pass through your Capital One account — the membership is not automatic.
- 2Add the Priority Pass pass to your phone wallet or use the app to get in at partner lounges.
- 3For Capital One Lounges, show your Venture X and a same-day boarding pass.
Good to know: If your goal was lounge access to bring family in, the 2026 guest fees blunt that. Compare against the Chase Sapphire Reserve, which still includes up to two guests.
