Which cell phone carriers include Netflix for free?
T-Mobile is the main one — its Experience More and Experience Beyond plans include Netflix Standard with Ads on us. Verizon only offers Netflix as a paid ~$10/mo add-on, US Mobile includes it as a perk choice on its top plan, and AT&T no longer includes free Netflix.
How it works
T-Mobile — the clearest free-Netflix carrier. Its Experience More and Experience Beyond plans include Netflix Standard with Ads on us (one account; higher or multi-line plans can include a higher tier). This is the most straightforward free Netflix in wireless.
Verizon — not free, but available. Verizon's myPlan lets you add a Netflix & Max (With Ads) bundle for about $10/mo — a discount versus buying both separately, but still a paid add-on, not an included perk.
AT&T — no free Netflix. AT&T dropped the free streaming perks it used to bundle; its top unlimited plans may offer credits you could put toward a subscription, but there's no straightforward included Netflix plan. Verify current terms directly with AT&T.
US Mobile — conditional. On its Unlimited Premium plan with enough lines, US Mobile gives one streaming perk credit, and Netflix is one of the options you can choose.
US Cellular — now part of T-Mobile. T-Mobile acquired US Cellular's wireless business on August 1, 2025, so former US Cellular customers can get Netflix by moving to a qualifying T-Mobile Experience plan.
What it's worth
Netflix Standard with Ads retails for about $7.99/mo (~$96/yr), and the ad-free tiers cost more. If your household would pay for Netflix anyway, a plan that includes it removes that separate bill.
Honest caveat: free Netflix only makes sense if you'd already choose the higher-tier plan that includes it. Don't upgrade to a pricier phone plan just to get Netflix — the plan premium usually costs more than the subscription you'd save.
How to claim it
- 1On T-Mobile: open the T-Mobile app, go to plan benefits, and activate Netflix On Us with your Netflix account (requires Experience More or Experience Beyond).
- 2On Verizon: in My Verizon, add the Netflix & Max perk (~$10/mo) under plan perks.
- 3On US Mobile: choose Netflix as your streaming perk on the Unlimited Premium plan.
- 4If you're on AT&T or any plan without a Netflix perk, compare the total monthly cost before switching carriers just for the subscription.
Good to know: Carrier streaming perks are tied to specific higher-tier plans, usually default to the ad-supported Netflix tier, and change often. Confirm current terms with your carrier before relying on any of them.
