Is Apple One worth it?
If you already pay for two or more Apple services separately, yes — Apple One bundles Music, TV+, Arcade, and iCloud+ for less than buying them individually. If you only use one, it isn't.
How it works
Apple One bundles several Apple subscriptions into one monthly price. Three tiers: Individual ($19.95/mo), Family ($25.95/mo, shareable with up to 6 people), and Premier ($37.95/mo).
Individual and Family include Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+ storage (50GB on Individual, 200GB on Family). Premier adds Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud+.
What it's worth
The bundle only saves money if you'd otherwise pay for the pieces separately. Apple Music alone is about $11/mo, so if you already pay for Music plus extra iCloud storage, the Individual or Family plan can cost less than your current separate bills while adding TV+ and Arcade.
If you only use one Apple service, Apple One is not worth it. It's a consolidation play, not a discount on a single subscription.
How to claim it
- 1On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and choose Apple One.
- 2Pick the tier that matches how many services you use; any service you don't already have is free for the first month.
- 3Cancel the individual subscriptions Apple One replaces so you're not double-paying during the overlap.
Good to know: Subscribing to Apple One does not automatically cancel an Apple Music or iCloud+ plan you already pay for. Turn those off, or you'll be billed twice.
