What's included with an Amazon Prime membership?
A lot beyond shipping — Prime Video, ad-free Amazon Music, Prime Reading, Prime Gaming, unlimited photo storage, Grubhub+, and Whole Foods savings all come with the one membership.
How it works
Amazon Prime costs $14.99/mo or $139/yr in the U.S. It's best known for fast, free shipping, but one membership bundles in a stack of separate services most people forget they already have.
Everything below is included at no extra cost once you're a Prime member — you don't add or pay for them separately.
What it's worth
The included services: Prime Video (movies, originals, and some live sports), Amazon Music (ad-free streaming of a large catalog plus top podcasts), Prime Reading (1,000+ e-books, audiobooks, and magazines), and Prime Gaming (free PC games and a free monthly Twitch channel subscription).
Plus: unlimited full-resolution photo storage (and 5GB for video), a Grubhub+ membership with $0 delivery fees on eligible orders, free same-day grocery delivery on $25+ orders in many areas, exclusive Whole Foods discounts, and early access to Prime Day deals.
How to claim it
- 1If you already pay for Prime, just start using the extras — open the Amazon Music, Prime Video, or Prime Gaming apps and sign in with your Amazon account.
- 2Link your Grubhub account to Amazon to activate the included Grubhub+ membership.
- 3Before paying for a music, e-book, or game-perks service elsewhere, check whether Prime already covers it for you.
Good to know: Prime Music (included) has a smaller on-demand catalog than the paid Amazon Music Unlimited tier, and Prime Video now shows ads unless you pay a few dollars more a month to remove them. The bundle is still a strong deal, but it isn't the full-fat version of every service.
